Cry, Shout, Seize, Take, Love...and Tell the Truth

This is no time for singing because it isn’t enough to be a “good singer." It isn’t enough to make a beautiful sound. It isn’t enough to be accurate. It isn’t enough to remember all the words. It won’t be enough until we reach directly into the hearts and minds of our audiences, expand their perspectives, and put them back in touch with their own real, raw emotional landscapes. THAT is the goal. THAT is what is relevant. THAT is what is essential. THAT is what art alone can do. This session is about prioritizing vulnerability as musicians so that we can deeply impact our audiences.
